Who we are

Waynivo LLC is a travel planning app based in Salt Lake City, Utah. We help travelers plan trips, track budgets, and manage itineraries. You can reach us at info@waynivo.com.

What data we collect and why

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored securely via Supabase Auth). This is used solely to identify you and protect your data.

Trip and itinerary data: Information you enter about your trips — destinations, dates, budgets, itinerary items, and expenses — is stored in our database and used to provide the core app experience.

Bank account data (via Teller): If you choose to connect a bank or card account, we use Teller.io to establish that connection. Teller provides read-only access to transaction data from your financial institution. We use this data only to display your spending within your trips. We do not sell, share, or use your financial data for advertising. Your bank credentials are never seen or stored by Waynivo — Teller handles authentication directly with your institution. You can disconnect your bank account at any time from within the app, which revokes our access immediately.

Email booking data (via Gmail): If you choose to connect your Gmail account, Waynivo reads your emails to identify travel bookings — such as flight confirmations, hotel reservations, and car rentals — and imports that information into your trip itinerary. We access only the emails required to identify travel-related content. We do not read, store, or share the content of unrelated emails. You can disconnect Gmail access at any time from within the app.

AI planning queries: When you use the AI Travel Agent, your trip details and messages are sent to OpenAI's API to generate trip plans. We do not use your queries to train AI models. OpenAI's data handling is governed by their privacy policy at openai.com/privacy.

How we store your data

All user data is stored in Supabase, a secure cloud database platform. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data — including trip data, bank connections, and Gmail tokens — is permanently deleted from our systems.

Your rights

You can delete your account at any time from within the app. Deleting your account permanently removes all your data, revokes any connected bank or Gmail access, and cannot be undone.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
